Teppenyaki Birthday Bash

I was going to just upload pics and not write anything, but then I changed my mind. haha. Yesterday was Captain Spongebob's birthday, so we celebrated it at a teppenyaki place on southbank, called Miyako. As usual, we took lots of pictures and did alot of random things. I really like the picture on the left, inspired by the Mr and Mrs Smith Pose, hehe.

I think I was quite happy with what I wore yesterday, although my dress kept falling, so I had to keep pulling it up -__-" shouldve used tape, but ohwells. hehe. For once, my legs looked skinny too! ALthough some photos made my arms look fat. >_<"

But anyways, I ended up taking about 158 Photos all together. I took alot of videos too, which Im going to work on to put it together :) just have to find some kind of music to go with it. hehe. shall do it over the next few days. I want to improve on my video editing skills. Hopefully they have gotten better over time :)

The food at the place wasn't bad, my favourite one was the chicken. I really enjoyed the mini games too, even though I missed the egg 3 times, and it ended up hiting me in the face. LOL. I'm just not good at catching food with my mouth! But I did catch the bowl of rice! I've never been to Teppenyaki before, so it was definitely a good choice in venue and definetely an awesome first time. So I am no longer a teppenyaki virgin! haha.

The cake was also really tasty, it was coffee flavour, but it made me quite full. Refusing to go home, I ended up going to Petaling at glenny with the others for Teh hot drink. It was a random ending to the night and I dont regret staying out so late, even if I only got 1.5hrs of sleep. LOL. I survived. But yeah, I wouldn't recommend it..LOL. So i do plan to go to bed soon :)
So today was pretty draining, had annoying finance meetings, PRMs to do...just me running around and trying to get things done. It was productive, but it was so anoying. I almost missed my second coffee! LOL

Spent most of my night updating my blog and uploading pics from lastnight. I love our photo's, they always turn out so well. Can't wait to see DTs photos. :), and to work on the video.

What were the chances of V and L wearing similar dresses, both white, wearing the same coloured heels! Sometimes it makes me wonder if I had bad fashion sense, coz they always seem to have nice makeup and clothes than me. Im probalby just being insecure about my fashion and looks. I know I'm just being silly. LOL. oh wells I'll get over it.

I do want to write more, but I am getting quite sleeepy, so maybe I'll save it for tomorrow :)

One thing I do want to say is that I hope my friend is okay, I'm sure I'm just overreacting and its probably nothing, but it seems to me like something mustve happened because he doesnt hav fb anymore..and he didnt reply any of my msgs, which he usually does. so I think he's either really doing his assignment or he's hiding. Hope I didnt cause him any harm again? Maybe I shouldnt have chatted to him for so long last night?

Anyways, I said what i had to, to him, so I shall give him his space. If he wants to talk to me he will, and he knows im willing to listen. i may sound like a nag always saying that im there for him everytime i think something is wrong, but I think its better because then he knows i care for him as a friend, and then he can count on me. He may not need my help now, but maybe oneday when he does, I'm there.

What a weekend...

Went to Glenny on Thursday for coffee and desserts at Zest. Dessert was so tasty! I ordered a chocolate mouse, which came with reallly reallly good berries and strawberries on the side! I think the berries were the best berries I've had ever! Seriously! haha. Or it could've been because I haven't had berries in awhile..haha. I was feeling pretty tired though, as you can probably tell from my pictures, haha. but it was good to get out, It was late, but not too late, so I still managed to get to bed at 11pm.

But it probably wasn't such a good idea, considering I had to wake up on Friday at 5am! Yup woke up at 5am, was sitting at the busstop waiting for the bus at 6.30am, making the 7 oclock train. Took the 237 (mistook it for 235 -___-") which made me miss my bus stop and I ended on the otherside of holden (Engine operations) instead of Headquaters..I was so lost. hahaah! I never knew holden was so big..well I knew it was big, just not THAT big..hahah. SO ended up calling a workmate who told me to "follow the sun" so I did, and I finally ended up somewhere more familiar! haha. made it to work.

Well specifically my desk by 8.20am. ahah 10 minutes early WOOT! Then for the rest of the day at work, I was pretty lazy. couldn't be bothered doing anything, just looking forward to drinks! haha.We went to Oxford Scholar a little too early I think, so we were just sitting there, and it was kinda awkward I think, well for me it was. but then as the night progressed, ahaha we all got pretty friendly! HAHAH! I lost count of how many drinks I had after my 7th drink. haha. It was definitely a good night, although I didn't take any pictures. haha. But yea, was pretty gone by the end of the night. LOL! It sucks I cant remember my conversation with my friend. ahaha I do remember talking alot though..I dont think they had a chance to respond! haha. i think I'm gonna slow down on the drinks for awhile. I know..hard to believe coming from me, Miss Drunko. haha But I will try! Shall be hearing alot of funny stories on monday!

Woke up with a minor headache. I think i experienced my first hangover! I think its because I didnt eat before I drank last night so it hit me faster. haha. I should've eaten..haha. But anyways went to vote with parents. Horrible experience ever. Today made me realise why I never hang out with parents. haha. they're so annoying! -___-" they're just so embarrassing to be around sometimes, like seriously! But I guess it was good to just hang out with them once in awhile...even if its like every blue moon. haha. I voted for Family First. had no idea what to vote, Then just went home and watched cougar town. haha. I started getting into it! love it now, so downloading the rest of season 1.

Now I'm gonna go to bed, get an early night and wake up early tomorrow to clean the company car and fill up gas before going to Camberwell Market. Shall update you guys about it tomorrow =)

Another Awesome Weekend

11th August (Wednesday)
I went to Kmart to do some shopping and came across these really cute Mr. Mens. haha. Thought i'd share them with everyone =]

12th August (Thursday)

I had a pretty Cruizy day at work today, Most of my team was out at Lang Lang, So got some peace and quiet to catch up on my list of tasks that always seems never ending -___-". Had Subway and Coffee in the morning. ahah, made me so full!. The subway breaky wrap is so good, its only $2, and it has bacon, egg and cheese.

Anyways, I was really looking forward to Ice Skating today because I hadn't been in so long. After work, i drove to docklands to meet Potter and the others to have dinner at Groovetrain. I was so proud of myself for getting there without getting lost once! hahaha. At Groovetrain, I had spaghetti and honeydew green tea which was recommended by the waitress. She was very friendly and gave us free cake because it was Potters birthday. haha.

After eating, we finally went to Icehouse for the main event. This was my first time there, so i had some really good first impressions of the place. It was big and spacious, with pretty good music and disco lights. There was two rinks, one where there was a hockey game being held and other other where we ice skating around and around for fun. hehe. My Skates were kinda tight, so I ended up getting a blister on my foot, but it was definietely worth it. It was good to catch up with Mathesons again. Don't remember the last time we'd hung out in such a big group. I gave up skating towards the end because my legs were so tired, I didn't have energy to skate fast anymore, and my blister was really getting to me! haha so ended up just chatting to Sadie and Clarissa. Then went to hungry jacks after for food, because some of us were quite hungry after skating around so much!

I had a really good sleep that night!

13th August (Friday)

I took an RDO today, so ended up sleeping in til 2pm! Was soo goood. hahahah! Then I just bummed around at home until It was time to get ready to go clubbing with the girls. Lulu looked so hot as a pilot, although the scarf did make her look a bit more like an airhostess.Nonetheless, it was HOT! =]. There were lotsa weirdos at Eve, stealing my hat, but it was still fun. I enjoyed it, despite almost fainting towards the end of the night due to the heat and stuffiness of the club. There were so many girls dirty dancing -___-" wonder what the next generations going to be like?

We danced for ages until about 12:45. We hardly had any drinks so by this time I was kinda thirsty. But the embarrassing thing was, between the time I decided to get a drink and actually walking over to the bar for a drink, I felt so dizzy and lightheaded that I could barely stand on my feet anymore! Felt bad for worrying the girls. They really should have more aircon in there or something, Seriously! I was fine once I got out of the club and got some fresh air. I came back to my senses. LOL, then we chatted in the car for a bit, before we headed off to Maccas. Haha that was probably the highlight of the night! 

14th August (Saturday)

The best highlight of this weekend was going to High Tea. We went to Westin Hotel, located on Russel Street I think, near the Chanel store. I was expecting us to go into a tall hotel building, and that High tea was something heald on the top floor, where we sat around a table. But I was totally mistaken as I stepped into the Westin Hotel. It was so Upper class! I fell in love with the stairs as soon as I entered! It was so swirvy and elegant looking. It was a shame we didnt go up to see what was upstairs. I wanted to take an individual shot of me coming down the stairs, but because we had taken so many photos already, I think everyone felt embarrassed by the amount of photos we took. hahah. But it was so worth it! I love daniels SLR, his pictures come out so nice! I hope we will get a chance to just go out and do a random photoshoot ine day. =]

We were directed to our seats (which was on the ground floor..haha) near the fireplace. The atmosphere was absolutely awesome! I loved it! made me feel like we werent in melbourne! As we waited for the others to arrive, we odered tea and coffee (which was unlimited with the package. It was so worth it because each tea or coffeee was about $7 Each, so I think we definietely made our moneys worth!) We took some amazing photos, and played chinese whispers...hahaha. I think people around us might've found us annoying because we seemed like little kids sitting in such a grand place, mucking around, taking endless amounts of photos. But I didn't care, who are they to judge? We were having fun, and thats all that mattered.

The food was soo good! I loved it, it came on a three teir thing, with scons, sandwhiches/burgers and desserts. Each one with a different taste. My favourite would have to be the burgers. The desserts were okay, but the lemon one was too sweet and the chocolate one was too thick..but I ate them anyway! hahah. I was so full by the end of it. It was basically my breakfast, lunch and dinner! (although I went home afterwards and had instant shin ramen. LOL!) Each food was so small and cute, I almost couldn't eat them! haha. The scons weren't bad either. After an extravagent day at High tea, we went back to lucys to play Karaoke and Scatteogies. Ending the night with some silly Photos. haha!

15th August (Sunday)
Todays just a relaxing day for me, just bumming at home watching drama, updating my blog, looking at pics and editing pics. hehe. Here are some that I've done so far:

Busy Weekend...

Hey y'all!..hahah! j'kidding!
So I've gotten a little lazy the last few days, been meaning to keep my blogs daily, but I ended up getting too tired, so here is my update since my last blog.

5th August 2010 (Thursday)
From memory, I don't think i did anything exciting tonight, I think I was suppose to go shopping with viv for our costume, but since we decided to buy it instead and because she had other plans, I ended up staying home. I did work on my resume though! Hopefully I'll finish it this week and then start applying for summer vacation.

6th August 2010 (Friday)

Today, I was suppose to go out for drinks in the city, hoping to go to some bars to check some venue's out for my birthday, but that fell through since I decided on ondergrounds =P, So ended up going home. I was lazing around until I got a call from derek and ended up going to air stream for coffee with derek, ravi, liam and meky. It was soo cold! I think it was because we sat outside though. Heater was hopeless. -__-", we then went to Kings to play pool. The layout of the place reminded me alot like princes. We ended up playing til about 4am! it was crazy. I didnt realise it was that late! So we finally went home...

7th August 2010 (Saturday)

Woke up at 11am today! Couldnt believe I was up so early, considering I went to bed at 5am the night before. Sister came around at about 1ish, so I stayed around, had some KFC, man the wicked wings were so good! hehe. Then I played with ethan for a bit, before realising it was already like 3pm, and i had to go do some shopping! I went to southland first, picked up some necklaces from Diva, that I'm going to be presenting on the night of my bday =P. Then I wandered around trying to find red boots or white boots. I could only find some nice white ones which were about $40. However I thougt I'd keep looking to see if I could find some cheaper ones. So off to DFO I went. I literally walked around the whollle place, and could not find anything I liked. Only highlight at DFO, was bumping into Rita! hehe, so anyways, then I went home after being disappoiinted on not finding anything, I did however see some Bar secrets Card packs from Typo which i was going to get for my bday prize aswell, however I decided not to - ahh so silly, I shouldve gotten it! but oh wells..

Anyways so I went home and waited til it was about 9.30pm before I went to glenny to meet up with the gang. We went to airstream and had an epic night of laughter, random gossip and catching up, and before we knew it, it was alreadi 1.30am!

8th August 2010 (Sunday)

Finally getting a chance to sleep in, I woke up at about 1.30pm. goro goro'ed in bed til about 2pm. I just wanted to keep sleeping, but knowing I still had some shopping to do, I dragged myself out of bed, went to Southland and bought myself some white/cream boots. The moment I put them on, I instantly fell in love with them. I knew, these were my boots. hahaha. Now my Costume for Sailormoon is about 90% Complete. The remaining 10% will be fulfilled when I'm actually wearing the whole costume. I still have a little work to do on the hair. but it should be ok =]. Then I wandered around Southland thinking about what to get for the winning prizes on my birthday. Walking in smiggles, jay jays, sports girl, diva, kiki.K, target, then finally into Kmart, where I decided to buy 2 Toy Story 3 Uno Packs. This will be for the Couples Award. hehe I did consider getting a proper couples prize - guy/girl kinda thing, but realised, what if the best couple was 2 guys? hahahaha! Then I considered going back to DFO to get the 2 Bar Secrets of Melbourne Pack, but couldnt be bothered driving all that way, so Settled on Uno cards. Who doesnt love Uno? and best thing is, its TOY STORY Edition. hehe. I also bought a kimmmi Keychain for best female character award. So I was quite happy with what I bought today. Thinking about how much i've spent, I decided to go home to have noodles for lunch although I was really tempted to get sushi. But I persisted with noodles, in attempt to save a few bucks. haha. I got home, cleaned my room, and then totally forgot I was suppose to eat..then before I knew it, it was dinner time. So i didnt even have lunch =S. I think I'm gonna have an early night tonight. Got another busy week ahead planned.

Blonde...

Didn't get a chance to blog yesterday, don't really know what I got up to...actually I think i was up budgeting my savings for the rest of the year to ensure I had enough holiday money and spending money but also ensuring I'm putting some money aside into my savings, so my money isnt completely disappearing! haha.

So two of our previous Co-ordinators came back to start at holden yesterday. Was feeling kinda nostalgic, remembering the first couple of weeks when I was getting my handover. But I think it'll be great to have them back. The more the merrier =]

Today was a pretty long day too, every free minute I had was spent on doing Finance related issues, chasing up people, emailing people for status updates, going to meetings. By the end of the day, i was just soo over it! I walked out of one of my meetings today, just to get coffee. hahaa. I probably shouldnt have...but..i wouldnt have been paying attention annnnyways, so no harm right?

Anyways my wig finally arrived in the mail today. Hopefully I can get it to the way I want it for my bday =]

I'm quite happy with it, although I accidently tangled it - stupid me -__-" so gotta untangle it over the weekend, then costumes, venue and prizes to plan.

Always wondered what I'd look like as a blonde =P. Pretty real huh?

Random Day

I felt kinda tired today, but then again, i say that every monday. haha. Reminds me of that song that guy on the radio invented, forgotten his name now, but it was the "I Hate Mondays" song. haha. But then some of the lyrics was something like wishing there was no mondays, but then wouldnt Tuesday then become the new monday? so then we'll just end up hating Tuesday. hahaha. Anyways, I prob should sleep earlier, its better for my health and skin. lol. I dragged myself out of bed about 6.45am this morning. Not bad, considering i dragged myself outta bed last friday at like 7am. Today was a quiet one at work. Spent the first part of the morning blanking out, forgetting what I was suppose to do and just dawdling around, trying to be busy. haha.

I was pretty much on fb 3/4 of the day, and so it so randomly happened that we ended up going to Grilled for dinner, hehe all started from a friend's status saying she was craving grilled burger and if anyone was up for it. It was a good catch up, funny how everyone happened to be free, and on such short notice too!

I ordered a Summer Sunset Burger, it was really good, although I wanted to try the the sweet chilli Chicken one because it had beetroot, but the Summer Sunset was still pretty good - and guess what? I FINISHED IT! hahah thats right, i finished my burger. haha. But..then i didnt finish my half of the chips. haha, or my drink...lol. It was good catching up with our friend who just got back from Japan. He got us little Totoro Gifts, which were so cute!

We left grill at like 8.20pm, which was pretty early, so we decided to go to Switch for Coffee. I got a caramel latte, it was really nice. I enjoyed it. We played one game of Uno, then this hand game, which was quite interesting. What happens is, everyone puts their hands out on the table, and someone starts off by slapping one hand down (doesnt have to be hard..hahah) and then the next person slaps their hand down, and it keeps going, but if someone douple taps their hand onto the table, then the direction reverses. it sounded like a fun game, but it didnt last long, and we found ourselves then playing chinese whispers, which I really sucked at. haha I have extremely bad hearing. hahaha. I kept forgetting the last part of the sentence, and i think its due to my bad memory. hahaha. Some of the sayings we had were:
1. the funky monkey jumped onto a train and hit his head, and it looked like a banana split?
2. the broccoli says to the potato "im going to make you into mashed potato" and the rumpletin went rolling?
3. cat went meow meow, cow went moo moo, and the pig went keh keh...(LOL)

There were others. but I can't quite remember. haha. I'm not sure if the ones I wrote above are 100% accurate, but it was something along those lines. ahaha we were quite silly. hahaha.

Now I'm finally home, and I havent worked on my resume, again. -__-". Will defintely do it tomorrow, since I have no plans. hehe.

Feeling pretty tired, so off to bed I go...
